Newman Psych consists of Dr. Erik Newman and Dr. Dana Torpey-Newman. We're married and we're both clinical psychologists. Dr. Erik specializes in psychological testing for individuals of all ages, and has a strong clinical focus on neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders). Dr. Dana specializes in adult individual and couple therapy, with a particular focus on the ways in which societal norms and implicit value systems impair functioning. We decided to start this YouTube channel in 2025 because we're tired of trying to address psychological distress one person at a time.
