Spawned from the Winston-Salem. N.C., jangle-pop circuit, Thrift Bakery often chooses the harder route of hip-hop, rock, funk and experimental indie rock. But they have been known to fall for a hook, chorus, harmony vocals and guitar-based melody in recent years. The virtual band is now scattered across the USA and continues to record.
